Comer told “Fox & Friends Weekend” that when he first heard about the disappearances, it sounded like “some kind of crazy conspiracy theory.” However, after seeing the details of the incident, he changed his mind and began alerting multiple government agencies.<\/p>\n
“We’ve notified the Department of the Army, the FBI, NASA, the Department of Energy, and they want to know everything we know about what happened to these scientists, because those four agencies are primarily the agencies that these 11 people were affiliated with. And we want to piece this together.”<\/p>\n
Comer said he plans to present the heads of those offices to Congress, but first sent the letter to give them time to make sure their testimony would not compromise the possibility of a confidential investigation.<\/p>\n

NASA scientist Monica Jacinto Reza, 60 years old. contractor Steven Garcia, 48; Astrophysicist Karl Grillmare, 47 years old. Nuno Loureiro, a 47-year-old physicist at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. NASA engineer Frank Maiwald, 61 years old. Los Alamos employees Melissa Casias, 53, and Anthony Chavez, 79. NASA researcher Michael David Hicks, 59 years old. and pharmaceutical scientist Jason Thomas (45).<\/p>\n
