This Earth Day, we reflect on our home planet and look at our planet from space throughout its history.<\/p>\n

Fifty-eight years ago, the “Earthrise” photograph taken by Apollo 8 astronaut Bill Anders became one of the most famous photographs in history. Not only is this photo the first high-resolution color image of Earth taken from space, it also reveals the inherent fragility of our homes.<\/p>\n
